Robotic Assistance Devices Joins Autonomous Security Association

It’s no secret that the security industry is growing and expanding toward a wide range of autonomous security vehicles – from drones to robots and beyond – and it’s really just the beginning. To that end, Security.World – spearheaded by Managing Editor Jay Jason Bartlett – has announced the formation of the Autonomous Security Association (ASA) in an effort to become the voice of this growing industry.

The ASA focuses on all platforms for unmanned vehicles and robotics, including ground, air and marine vehicles coupled with a broad spectrum of robotic initiatives including commercial, medical, military, personal and industrial security applications. Participating companies of the ASA manufacture, integrate and resell such devices.

The main purpose of the ASA is to elevate the dialogue within the security industry about the use of autonomous technology and provide much-needed expertise in the area in an effort to educate the growing customer base using this technology. The ASA website offers insights and the latest developments within the market – from regulatory and legislative tracking at both the state and federal levels, to projects and business opportunities, to discussion boards/forums and everything in between. It’s designed to help users navigate the ever-changing industry.
